Photo Packs

This Privacy Policy describes how Photo Packs ("we," "our," or "the App") handles your information when you use our iOS and iPadOS application. Photo Packs is designed to be private by default: no cloud required, and your photos stay on your device.

1. Information We Collect

Photo Packs is a local-first app. We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos or personal data to our servers. All processing happens on your device.

1.1 Photos and Packs

When you use the App, you may import photos from your Photo Library or from the Files app. These photos are accessed only on your device for the purpose of creating packs, applying presets (resize, filename templates, watermarks), and exporting to Files, ZIP, or PDF. We do not upload, store, or transmit your photos to any third party.

1.2 App Data Stored on Your Device

The App may store the following on your device, for your use only:

  • Pack names and preset settings (e.g., resize options, filename templates)
  • Your preferences and in-app settings
  • Pro subscription status (via Apple's StoreKit; see below)

This data remains on your device and is not sent to us.

1.3 Apple Services

The App uses Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit) for the optional Pro subscription. Apple may collect and process payment and subscription information in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your payment details. We may receive anonymized information about subscription status solely to enable Pro features on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because we do not collect your photos or personal data on our servers, we do not use them for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose. Any device-local data is used only to provide the App's features (packs, presets, export) on your device.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your photos and pack data stay on your device. Exported files (ZIP, PDF, or copies to Files) are saved to locations you choose (e.g., On My iPhone/iPad or iCloud Drive). We do not have access to those files after export.

If you use iCloud or other cloud storage for device backups, your App data may be included in those backups according to your device and Apple account settings. That is governed by Apple's policies, not ours.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on Apple's frameworks (Photos, Files, StoreKit) to access your photo library and files and to process subscriptions. Your use of those features is subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not integrate with third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

  • Stop using the App at any time.
  • Remove the App and its data by deleting it from your device.
  • Revoke Photo Library access via Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.
  • Manage or cancel your Pro subscription via your Apple ID subscription settings.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because all processing is local and we do not collect personal data, the App does not target or knowingly solicit children. If you believe a child has provided data through the App in a way that concerns you, please contact us.

7. International Users

The App is available in regions where the App Store is available. We do not transfer your data to our servers because we do not collect it. Any data remains on your device or in your chosen storage (e.g., iCloud) under your and Apple's control.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
